On the track, however, Moe changes. He stands calmly in the gate, and behaves perfectly under saddle. It only takes the slightest push for him to speed up, the slightest pull to slow him down. He has a great competitive spirit and seems unaffected by his surroundings.
In a good mood, Moe has been known to do something unusual. He lets out a high pitched exhalation that gets mistaked as the barn's cat.
