Registered Name: Royal Perfection
Nickname: Peaches
Age: Four Years (Y6)
Breed: Thoroughbred
Colour & Markings: Bay (see image)
Height: 16.2hh
Gender: Filly
Personality/History:
Born from a retired grade one racer dam, Perfection, who retired with a record of 71-23-20-16, and sired by Hall Of Fame Inductee Royal Red Richard, who retired with a race record of 58-34-15-4, and won such races as the Universal Cup* and Breeder's Cup Classic*, Peaches has obviously got great lines. We chose Royal Red Richard as a sire for this special filly in the hope we would get something special, and we have yet to discover exactly what potential this filly has. Peaches has a similar temperament to her dam, Perfection, but gets her speed from her sire, Royal Red Richard. She is quite quiet and a pleasure to handle off the track; but once she sets foot on it, she goes from sweet and calm to high strung and flighty, with a slight touch of arrogance when in the winner's circle. Peaches will run the race how she wants, and only takes jockey directions as suggestions. This can sometimes hurt her performance, but fortunately, this filly has wings on her feet and can really run when the time comes. Her racing style is quite versatile. She is capable of running as the pace setter, but usually she opts to run behind the pace setter. Her bond with her rider Vicky Wilson goes as far as any normal horse and rider, but it's okay, because Peaches runs for herself. She gets very competitive.

Racing Style:
Peaches is quite versatile, capable of running well anywhere in the field throughout the race except for the back. Running just behind two or three horses is her usual style, and it seems to work best for her. She is quite an independant horse, preferring to run the race the way she wants to rather than how her jockey wants to, so when the two work together, its like magic. She usually makes her move when the lead horses begin to tire, and she loves the exhilaration of taking over them and running in the lead right down to the wire.
